Even Santa isn't immune to a little bad luck. Christmas Eve had already taken longer than expected, and for the first time, he was running behind schedule. The sleigh raced through the night as Santa checked his list one last time, determined to make up for the lost time.

Then it happened. A gust of wind. A patch of ice. One very surprised Santa. He slipped, tumbled headfirst down the chimney, and landed in the living room with a thud. There was no time to waste.

Santa laughed, brushed the soot from his coat, and quickly placed the presents beneath the tree. Then he reached into his coat pocket and removed a small envelope. He carefully tucked it between the branches of the Christmas tree, making sure it wouldn't be noticed until morning.
