I had just graduated from high school. I had landed my first full-time job at the warehouse. To celebrate, I bought my favorite meal, grabbed my skateboard, and headed for the beach. It wasn't glamorous, but it was only a short ride from home. For the first time, it felt like life was finally moving forward. The sun hung low over the ocean as I cruised along the coast.
